      How It Works

      1. The Model RX is placed on a properly cleaned manhole ring. A gasket around the base forms an airtight seal.
      2. Airflow is directed upward through vent holes into the OdorKnocker media.
      3. The deflector plate distributes airflow evenly to prevent channeling.
      4. Inside the media, H₂S gas chemically reacts and converts into iron pyrite (fool’s gold).
      5. The result: odors are eliminated, and the spent media is safe to handle, dispose of, or recycle as a soil amendment.
